Arvest Bank, Tulsa Announces Executive Changes
Walker Leaving Tulsa for Regional Position

TULSA, Okla. (Dec. 29, 2014) — Arvest Bank announced today that president and CEO Don Walker has been named a regional executive, effective Jan. 2, 2015.

Additionally, Kirk Hays, sales manager and executive vice president of Arvest Bank, Tulsa, has been named its president and CEO. That change also is effective Jan. 2.

Walker has worked in various capacities and locations for Arvest for 36 years, including the last 16 as president and CEO of Arvest Bank, Tulsa. Five markets in Arkansas will report to Walker in his new role.

"Bringing that experience to this position will be a great way to use Don's wisdom and knowledge on a broader scale," Arvest Bank president and CEO Kevin Sabin said.

Hays joined Arvest in 1994 as a commercial lender. His current duties include oversight of 38 retail branches, private banking, small business lending, marketing, and branch services.

"Kirk focuses on Arvest's core values, harvesting of essential data and how to use it, challenging the norm, growing and mentoring of associates, and the value of a team," said Brad Krieger, a regional executive of Arvest Bank.

Both Walker and Hays represent Arvest throughout the area via various civic activities. Arvest Bank, Tulsa is one of the largest of Arvest’s 16 locally managed banks, with more than 500 employees working at 38 locations in 16 communities.
