What is an Arvest Spending card?

Effective July 10, 2017, Arvest Bank no longer offers spending cards.

If you have a spending card that was issued prior to July 10, 2017, you may continue to use it as usual. If, however, your current spending card is lost or stolen, Arvest will not issue a new card. If your card is lost or stolen – or if you believe someone has made unauthorized purchases with your card – call (866) 952-9523 or visit a nearby Arvest branch immediately.

Some additional reminders for those who have a spending card issued prior to July 10, 2017:

  • You cannot spend more money than you have available on your spending card.
  • Your spending card is designed to make purchases for only the amount you have loaded, and does not have overdraft privilege. In the unlikely event your card balance becomes negative due to a transaction, your next deposit will apply toward the negative balance.
  • To unload your spending card and close the card, please visit a nearby Arvest branch and associate will help you with this transaction.
  • A $5 fee will be charged when your spending card is closed.
  • When closing an empty spending card, please call (866) 952-9523 or visit a nearby Arvest branch to deactivate the card and avoid any additional monthly service charges.
