Ben is an Arvest Wealth Management senior vice president and senior wealth advisor. He works with a select group of business executives and high-net-worth clients, to grow, manage, protect and transfer their wealth in a manner that aligns with their needs and goals. His work focuses on complex financial and life planning, tax planning, trust and estate planning, investment strategy, risk management and asset protection. Other areas of specialization include management of concentrated stock positions, C-suite executive compensation, estate tax elimination and legacy planning. Ben graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications and marketing from San Francisco State University. He later graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree emphasizing tax, estates and trust, financial and business law. He also graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation and a minor in transactional law.
Ben is a licensed attorney in Arkansas and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®). He also holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE®) credential for his knowledge of tax-exempt and tax-deductible financial transactions and charitable gift planning. Ben joined Arvest in 2014 after nearly ten years as a charitable gift planning executive and two and a half years working with a local law firm.
