The Arvest Internship Program is designed to help you get a clearer vision of your future, with opportunities in the following departments:

General Banking

Bank internships involve either shadowing and working in all areas of the local bank or may focus on one specific area such as Marketing, Commercial Loans or Credit Analysis.

Arvest Mortgage Division & Central Mortgage Company

Interns will be assigned various projects within the mortgage team, which manages loan programs to help customers purchase a home. Interns may rotate between different mortgage departments.

Arvest Wealth Management

Interns will shadow Wealth Management Client Advisors and Trust Officers to gain first-hand experience of the "day in the life" of these professionals and how they bring their knowledge and expertise to help solve their client's financial and investment needs. Interns will receive broad exposure to the inner workings of our brokerage and trust departments while working on projects to support the various Wealth Management initiatives in the local bank markets.

Arvest Equipment Finance

Interns will learn about the various Equipment Finance positions and work closely with our Credit Analysts to learn how to read financials and underwrite requests.

Integrated Account Servicing

Interns will be assigned various projects with the Integrated Account Servicing department, which may include process development/improvement, data-driven analysis and customer/user experience mapping.

Arvest Financial Management

Interns will be assigned various projects within the financial management team, which reports financial information for all bank departments and divisions.

Corporate Tax

Interns will work on projects related to compliance, tax planning and research for federal and state corporate tax returns. Other projects related to information reporting, fixed assets and more may be available.

People Team

Interns will be assigned various projects within the People Team including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management and Communications.

Third-Party Risk Management

Interns will be assigned various projects within Third-Party Risk Management which may include conducting assigned background research on proposed and existing third parties (TPPs) as part of the due diligence risk assessment and TPPs for inherent risk. Interns will also assist local banks and business unit divisions with understanding the TPP risk assessment process.

Information Technology

Interns will be assigned to a specific team and will take part in various projects by shadowing and working with professionals in their focus area. Specific examples include Software Engineering and Business Analysis.

Information Technology – Customer Applications

Based on skill set, interns will be assigned various projects within the Customer Applications team including systems administration, business analysis and development.

Marketing

Interns will be assigned various projects within Arvest Marketing including marketing operations, communications, media planning, project management, digital marketing and social media.
