Our 14th annual Million Meals campaign has officially kicked off. Now through May 31, we’re raising money to help feed our communities while also raising awareness about food insecurity. With your help, we hope to provide more than one million meals to our neighbors in need by partnering with 85 food partners in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.

- A one-time notice will display at the top of your account list, where you can learn more about Million Meals or donate.
- If you've already cleared this notification, Million Meals can also be found in the left menu directly below "Settings."
- Donate via phone – Customers can make a $1 (or more) donation by calling (866) 952-9523. Funds will be drawn directly from your Arvest account.
- Donate at a branch – Cash and check contributions will be accepted at Arvest Bank branches. Ask any Arvest associate for details.

Celebrating Our 14th Year
Our Million Meals initiative was launched in 2011 to help raise aware and fight hunger. Since then, we’ve raised nearly 23 million meals to support our local communities.

History of Million Meals
Our decision to provide one million meals was based on the fact that hunger is an issue in every community we serve. Households continue to experience food insecurity, having difficulty providing enough food for their household members due to lack of resources.
Since first launched in 2011, Arvest has provided 22.9 million meals, which includes more than $4.1 million in funds given directly to local community food partners.

More people in our communities are struggling daily with the challenge of feeding themselves and their families. Children are especially vulnerable during the summer months when they are not receiving free or reduced meals through their school. With your help, we aim to raise more than a million meals to help our neighbors and increase awareness of food insecurity.
Prevalence of Hunger
- An estimated 12.8% of American households were food insecure in 2022, meaning they had difficulty at some time during the year providing enough food for all their household members due to a lack of resources.
- 11.4% of households with elderly members living alone experienced food-insecurity in 2022.
- Based on average rates from 2020-2022, Arkansas ranked first among the most food-insecure states in the nation with 16.6% prevalence among households. Oklahoma (6th) and Missouri (10th) were once again in the top 10 while Kansas ranked 34th in the nation.
Nationwide Child Hunger
- 17.3% of U.S. households with children under age 18 experienced food-insecurity in 2022.
- 16.7% of households with children under age 6 experienced food-insecurity in 2022.
- 33.1% of households with children headed by a single woman experienced food-insecurity in 2022.
- 21.2% of households with children headed by a single man experienced food-insecurity in 2022.

How Your Donations Work
All monetary donations collected during our Million Meals campaign will benefit 85 local food banks and nonprofit organizations in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Arvest associates, customers and community members have raised at least one million meals in each of the last 13 years. Together we can fight hunger and feed local communities!
