Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance1, or AD&D, is an insurance policy that protects you from the unforeseen financial hardship of an accident that causes any of the following:
- death
- dismemberment
- paralysis
- loss of sight, speech or hearing
The plan provides coverage for you and can also cover your family members. Claims are paid according to the loss.
Arvest coverage for AD&D Insurance:
- Account holder and family – Covers the account holder(s), the account holder’s spouse and the account holder’s children up to age 19 (age 26 if enrolled full-time in an accredited higher learning institution). This coverage is provided with the Arvest Platinum Checking account.

1 AD&D coverage is provided through the company named in the certificate of insurance. Coverage divides equally on joint accounts and reduces by 50% at age 80. Please refer to the actual insurance documents for complete details of coverage and exclusions.
