Adam Cawthon

Adam has been in the mortgage industry since 1999 and with Arvest Bank since 2011. He primarily serves the Washington and Benton County areas of Arkansas, but has the ability to lend nearly anywhere in the United States. He’s honed his knowledge through positions in origination, processing, underwriting and closing. After more than 13 years in a senior underwriting role, he felt called to work directly with clients to help their homeownership dreams come true and moved back into origination as a mortgage lender.

As a former senior underwriter, Adam has ample experience in a wide variety of loan programs. He has underwritten VA, Rural Development, FHA, Conventional and Arvest-specific in-house products. Adam has been recognized for his exemplary high production as an underwriter and aims to do the same in his mortgage lender role.

When he’s not working to make his customers’ homeownership dreams come true, Adam spends time in his role as a professional kayak fisherman. He began competing in 2023 and holds one championship. He is an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and grandchild.
