Do the new vertical debit cards differ from the traditional horizontal debit cards?

No. Customers may use their new vertical debit card anywhere Visa is accepted. The debit card will include all of the same features as the old card, including contactless payment, Visa Benefits and security features. The card’s size will remain standard and will fit in typical card slots as well.
