What information do I need to have when performing a wire transfer?

To perform a domestic wire transfer, you will need the following:

Sender information

• The account number to debit (the Arvest account number from which you want to send the wire transfer).
• The amount of the wire transfer.
• Beneficiary information.
• The account and routing numbers of your beneficiary at the other bank.
• The address and phone number of your beneficiary’s bank.
• Any additional reference information. For example, include an invoice number if you are making a purchase.

To perform an international wire transfer, you will need all of the above, plus the following additional beneficiary information:

• The account number of your beneficiary at the foreign bank. This might also be called an "IBAN" (International Bank Account Number) or, if the wire is being sent to Mexico, a "CLABE" (Clave Bancaria Estandarizada).
• The name and address of your beneficiary.
• The SWIFT (or BBK) Code for the beneficiary's bank.
