What is BillPay?
BillPay lets you pay your bills online through Arvest Bank. You can pay anyone in the United States that you would usually pay by check or automatic debit, even if you don't receive bills from the company or person you want to pay.
You can use BillPay in Arvest online banking and the Arvest mobile banking app.
Once you enter your recipients, they'll remain on your list of bills until you delete them. View and pay these bills online within the Payments tab. You can set up automatic payments for your electronic bills or to schedule payments of a set amount at regular intervals. You can review your bills and payments for the past 24 months.
Set up reminders to receive notifications when a bill is due. When you enter an amount, BillPay automatically displays the earliest date the recipient will receive the payment. You can accept this date or change it. After you enter your payment information, we validate it and display it on screen for you to confirm. Some payments are processed as checks rather than electronic payments.
How a payment is processed depends on how the recipient can receive it. If Arvest sends the payment by check, it can take four or more days for the recipient to receive your payment. Payments sent as paper checks can be subject to mail delays — ensure you have included enough time to account for these payments being processed, as a check requires longer processing times.
