Arvest was recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) during its 2025 Rural Development National Lenders of the Year Award Ceremony. The annual award ceremony honors the work of the USDA’s top national lending partners supporting rural homeownership.
Arvest Mortgage Division earned third place in the USDA 2025 Underwriting Quality Champion and USDA 2025 Top Secondary Market Partner Champion award categories.
“These awards are a reflection of Arvest’s strong commitment to serving customers in rural areas,” said Chris Evans, president and CEO of Arvest Mortgage Division. “We are proud to be recognized for excellence in advancing access to affordable home financing.”
Arvest offers Rural Development loans backed by the USDA, which are ideal for buyers looking to settle in qualifying rural and suburban areas. The loans support affordable housing with favorable terms and benefits that include zero down payment, 100% financing for Rural Development-eligible properties and minimal monthly mortgage insurance.
According to the USDA, the awards honor banks and lenders that excel in encouraging homeownership in rural areas through USDA Rural Development’s Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program.
"Our success in expanding homeownership opportunities in rural communities is possible because of the strong relationships we’ve built with our lending partners,” said Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development Todd Lindsey. “The National Lenders of the Year Awards recognize the essential role lenders play in advancing the Rural Housing Service’s mission to help families achieve the dream of homeownership.”
