Bert is an Arvest senior vice president and senior trust officer, where he is responsible for administering trust services. He obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas in 1982. Bert also received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas in 1985 and attended Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts where he obtained a Master of Law in taxation in 1986. He practiced law from 1986-1994 in Little Rock, Arkansas with an emphasis on estate planning and business transactions.

Bert joined Arvest in 1999 after five years in trust administration with another financial institution.
