Protect Your Account from Fraud

Your privacy and security are important to us. Below are some actions you can take to help protect your account.

Username & Password Settings

  • Avoid reusing passwords: Strong, unique passwords are crucial to account security. Avoid reusing or using a variation of a password you have used elsewhere. Never include personal information like names, pets' names, significant locations or dates in your password, as these could be found online or on social media.
  • Never write down your PIN or password: Memorizing hundreds of passwords isn't realistic. Using a password manager can help securely store them, and some can even create passwords for you!
  • Enable multifactor authentication (MFA): Enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account, meaning a compromised password alone can't be used to access the account.

Contact Information

Check your account balance and transactions often to help quickly spot suspicious activity.

Make sure your contact info is up to date so we can reach you if we spot something before you do.

Authorized Users

Regularly review who can access your accounts to ensure all authorized users are up to date. This is especially important for business accounts.

Biometric Authentication

Log in securely on your compatible device using fingerprint and facial recognition.

To enable biometric login, open the Arvest mobile banking app, click the person icon in the top right, then choose My Preferences. Expand the options for the device you want to enable biometrics for, then toggle on Enable Biometric Authentication. Last, click Enable on the confirmation screen. Watch our tutorial on how to enable Touch ID and Face ID for more information.

Remember, once enabled, any biometric registered to your device can open the app.
