Top Question:
Why is my card not working?
Best Answer:

NOTICE: If your Arvest debit card was declined when trying to make a purchase that requires a billing address or zip code, you now need to enter your physical address (or the zip code associated with your physical address) if it is different than your mailing address, to complete your purchase.  This change is the result of an update to our card processing system.

Also, some merchants have failed to make the card processing system update on their side. That means a few merchants are not able to accept Arvest debit card payments with a PIN at this time, and your card will be declined.  When this happens, please ask the merchant to run your transaction as a credit without a PIN. If that does not work, you can pay with cash, a check or a credit card. You may also try to make your purchase with your card at another merchant.  This is not a widespread issue; it only involves a few merchants, most of them small retailers.  Our teams are diligently working to ensure Arvest debit cards are accepted at every merchant.

We sincerely apologize for any frustration or embarrassment this change may cause when using your debit card for these purchases.

If your Arvest debit card or credit card isn’t working for any other reason, please let us know so we can help.  For assistance, please visit a nearby branch location or call Customer Service at (866) 952-9523.

If your card has expired, you should have received a new card in the mail.  If you haven’t received it, please contact us immediately at the number above.
