Chip-Enabled EMV Cards

EMV Cards from Arvest Bank

Big Protection in a Tiny Chip

New Arvest Corporate Credit Cards and Purchasing Cards now come with EMV (Europay™, MasterCard® and Visa®) chip technology built right in. Chip-enabled cards protect your card information in a big way by storing it on a computer chip in addition to the magnetic strip on the back of the card.

Please note: Arvest is currently issuing this technology in new and reissued corporate credit cards and corporate purchasing cards only. This technology will also be available soon on consumer credit and debit cards.

Enhanced Fraud Protection with Chip Technology

Every time you use your card at a chip-enabled terminal, the embedded chip protects your information by creating a unique transaction code. Using a chip-enabled card is a simple process:

  1. Insert the chip end of your card into the terminal with the card facing up.
  2. Keep your card in the terminal and follow the prompts on the screen.
  3. Remove your card when prompted and take your receipt.

  4. Note: You may also be required to enter your PIN or sign for your purchase.

Enjoy Global Acceptance

More places than ever now accept Visa® credit cards. Whether you check out using chip technology or decide to swipe your card, you can pay with confidence worldwide. Plus, you're protected against unauthorized use with Visa®’s Zero Liability policy.
